Vayl, Consul of Everblight: 4

Time for eVayl to shake her money maker! I was under the impression that last nights game was going to be against Peters Cygnar, which my list happens to be perfect against, but instead Peter turned up with a genuine nightmare matchup: eMadrak.

Vayl, Consul of Everblight: 3

I’ve done a lot of painting and very little gaming this week, but tomorrow it should be game time again (I hope!).

Vayl, Consul of Everblight: 2

We had a games day today, which is much like a tournament except nobody is keeping score and the match-ups are random. It was a MM/TC game, except that we were allowed to use 5 points on non beasts/jacks, so I decided I would get in some games with Tier 4 eVayl.

Iron Grudge

About a year ago a couple of the guys on a Danish forum were talking about the issues we had in keeping track of our games and statistics. Two of the guys volunteered to learn a bit more about programming and make an application to handle it for us.

Vayl, Consul of Everblight: 1

I liked pVayl, but in a tournament setting I need something to counter enemy upkeep and buff/debuff lists, so her epic version has to hit the table as well.

So you think you can’t paint?

The model I’ve chosen for this was painted entirely in a single evening, and the actual time spent painting was considerable less than two hours. I cooked dinner, watched a movie, did the laundry, and still finished with time to spare.

Vayl, Disciple of Everblight: 3

Having had nine games with pVayl now I’m beginning to formulate a theory on her. I think Vayl might be a three wave caster, and running her as such could be interesting.

A different take

Archangel, the other side

The spoilers have been out for a day. Initially I was extremely disappointed, exactly as expected, and no matter how much I think about it I can’t find a place where this will really shine. I did however find some places where I think it might work.

Battle of The Heath

I don’t like getting up at six in the morning, but getting up at six in the morning on a Saturday was even worse! Then my bus didn’t show up and it was raining a bit. Luckily the second bus somehow warped time, showing up eight minutes later than scheduled but arriving at my destination two minutes ahead.
